Name: Mwangala Kebby Liseka

Mwangala Kebby Liseka posses over 11 years of professional experience teaching physical education, sports, and geography at both primary, secondary, and tertiary levels, he is a passionate educator dedicated to lifelong learning and community development. His teaching journey spans respected institutions such as Eden University, Jubeva College of Education and a number of primary and secondary schools, where he has successfully mentored student teachers/learners and delivered both theoretical and practical lessons, specializing in physical education and sports sciences and geography.

As a class E (football association of Zambia class E license) football coach and active community leader, LIseka has organized and managed local, district, and provincial sports events, and has also played significant roles in national associations such as the Zambia Schools Sports Association. His experience extends to education, public speaking, field work, project management, grant proposal writing, data collection and educational assessment.

In addition to his Bachelor’s Degree in physical education, sports and Geography, he holds relevant certifications in sports administration, project management, grant proposal writing, general hospitality and ports sciences. He has a strong advocate for leveraging sports for education, climate change management, personal growth and community engagement.

He is fluent in English and several Zambian languages, and bring to the team a spirit of adaptability, motivation, and teamwork. Whether in the classroom or on the field, he strives to inspire the audience to achieve their potential and develop a lifelong passion for learning and sports.

Liseka is a dedicated, adaptable, accountable and motivated fast learner with experience in sports management, project management, monitoring and evaluation, sport coaching and training, community work, field work, educator, public speaking, data management and driving.

Achievements

Worked as a part time lecturer at Jubeva college of education (an affiliate to the University of Zambia) located in Chipata district of eastern province. I offered both theory and practical lessons in physical education and sports for five (5) years.

Organised and managed sport activities and events in places such as: my community, the university of Zambia, Jubeva college of education, National Sports Council of Zambia (during my internship) and Zambia schools sports association. Coached and trained players at royal soccer academy (Lusaka Zambia),

Worked as assistant researcher in a project that looked at the coaching profile in a number of sports associations/federations of Zambia (2023).

Worked as assistant researcher in a project that was set to investigate the levels of inclusion in sports participation and leadership in Zambia and other countries which are members of region six (2024).

Served as a secretary general for Zambia schools sports association in eastern province. This roleexposed him to the real world of practical sport and its dynamics. He was the vice president for the, University of Zambia Postgraduate Student Association (UNZAPOGRASA), for the year 2024.
