What Did you enjoy about the program?

What I enjoyed most about the program was the way it was delivered online with clear, simple, and easy-to-follow presentations. Each module was explained in a practical manner, making even complex research concepts very understandable.

I appreciated how the trainers combined theory with real examples, which helped me connect the lessons to real project work.

I also enjoyed learning different research methods and tools, especially the step-by-step guidance on both qualitative and quantitative approaches. The sessions on referencing tools, project implementation, and monitoring and evaluation were particularly valuable and immediately applicable to my professional work.

Finally, I appreciated the supportive learning environment created by the trainers. Their responsiveness and willingness to guide us through questions made the online experience engaging and effective. Overall, the program was simple, well-structured, and very impactful.

Name: ISHIMWE EUGENE

Ishimwe Eugene is a dedicated Rwandan educator, sports professional, and development practitioner with over five years of experience in teaching, coaching, and community engagement. He holds a Master’s degree in Educational Planning and Management from Mount Kigali University and a Bachelor’s in Biology and Physical Education from the University of Rwanda, complemented by specialized training in research, project implementation, coaching, first aid, and sports officiating.

Eugene serves as Physical Education Teacher, Football Coach, and Sports Coordinator at Acorns International School, developing holistic sports programs and mentoring young athletes. Nationally, he contributes as a certified coach and referee in football, swimming, basketball, and handball, holding FERWAFA D License, UCI Level 1 Coaching, and multiple officiating certifications.

He is also COO at Siga Art Rwanda, Managing Director at Ma Africa Events, and Country Representative for FISORI, while volunteering with the UN. Eugene’s mission is to inspire youth through discipline, teamwork, and physical education, empowering them for future success.
