There are several things that I enjoyed in our Class. The following are just some of them. Firstly, there was relevant course content. In both the Research Methods and Tools and Softwares in Biostatistics course, the content is practically useful in my academic career as it has shaped me into a better person when it comes to Research projects. The content has given me adequate knowledge and skills which I am able to apply in my academic journey and excel steadfastly. Secondly, I loved very much the engagements during the classes. The facilitators were able to offer us windows to participate in the content being delivered. These interactions boosted my confidence in public speaking as I was encourage to give my opinion despite the fact that I knew the answer or not. Again, being online classes, this helped me to be active throughout the lessons. It was hard to dose off because the classes were interesting mostly. Thirdly, this Class exposed me to Canvas which was used as both for learning and interaction platform. Canvas was very user-friendly and convenient as I could easily access information and learning materials like slides. In terms of Zoom, it was as well interesting because we were a manageable class. Again, considering the fact that we were at liberty to choose a slot which was convenient for us, this made class attendance easy. However, the management could consider making the slides on Canvas downloadable for students for offline viewing Last but one is that I enjoyed the modul tasks as they covered broad area of each module. We had a Discussion, Quiz and Assignment which allowed us to read more and tackle almost every part of the module hence giving us an opportunity to dwell deep into the content. Lastly, I found True Talk News Writing volunteering an opportunity to train and shape us into good writers while contributing to significant issues affecting our socieities. This is a very commended opportunity. However, my cohort was limited from participating in Writing training for True Talk News which was not provided to our cohort during Research Methods course. Research tools in biostatistics is an impressive program that I have enjoyed a lot and never regretted having applied. As a researcher and social scientist it has improved my understanding of several research tools available to use in any research work. Despite having prior knowledge on statistics the programme has reviewed some of the research tools I didn’t know about such as survemonkey, Enkoto, KoboCollect tool box, power BI and Tableau. This shows that as a researcher we have a lot of tools at disposal to improve our data collection and analysis. For instance, KoboCollect is an offline data collection tool that can be used to gather data in a place where network service is poor and there is no electricity such as in rural setups as the case in most African countries. Apart from that the integration of Artificial intelligence to SPSS shows that some tools can not replaced but incorporated and improved to make them more effective, powerful, efficient and accurate. Hypothesis testing and making inference in based on statistics helped me to understand the importance of making data-driven decisions in credible research study. I have also learnt how prepare and analyse data, create interactive visualizations using charts, dashboards and stories for clarity and publish reports. However, there is a lot that I have learnt and ready to use them in all my future research. I also enjoyed how the team work part of the program because for almost every session we had two lectures who were always on time and followed each other closely the first lecturer take a the first half of the session and the second lecturer without any waste of time would continue immediately from where the first lecturer stopped and it made our lessons so focused and interactive I also very much enjoyed the part of writing an effective literature review which is the backbone of any research study because it's provides the basis, the foundation of the existing research and identifies areas of agreement and disagreement amongst scholars. 1996 in the Roman Catholic Primary School Lunsar and He has been among the first 3 in any class on to Primary six (6) where he became the best student in the whole of Port Loko District in the National Primary School Examination (NPSE) with a score of 336 out of 500. He later moved to the Schlenker Secondary School Port Loko where he continue his good track record to be among the first five (5) on to the level of SSS 3 where he attempted his first West Africa Secondary School Examinations (WASSE) with a poor performance with just one credit in History with other passes. He later also attempts the same exam but could not prove well, but notwithstanding due to the passion he has for education he applied for a Diploma Program in Forestry at Njala University of which he was accepted to do the course. He went through the course a came out with Execellence grades with 3.92 out of 5.0. the University therefore encourage him to enroll for a B.Sc. program.
